Ukrainian-French fintech giant Aiffin raises €3.1 million to expand its European presence

Kyiv, Paris – Artificial intelligence and financial technology are no longer the future; they are the present. Aiffin, a Ukrainian-French company operating at the intersection of these two powerful trends, has announced the successful raising of €3.1 million in funding. The capital, secured at a €30 million valuation, opens new horizons for the development of its innovative platform, which is already transforming financial decision-making processes.

According to information provided directly by the company, the investment round drew on multiple funding sources, demonstrating broad confidence in Aiffin’s ambitions. The milestone involved both private investors who believe in the company’s potential and funds raised through a successful crowdfunding campaign. In addition, part of the capital was obtained through debt financing specifically aimed at supporting leasing transactions, highlighting the practical application of Aiffin’s solutions in real business operations.

Strategic investment: where the funding is going

The total €3.1 million is allocated across two key areas, reflecting Aiffin’s well-thought-out growth strategy. Around €625,000 was raised through investments from so-called angel investors—private individuals who support startups at early stages—as well as through the aforementioned crowdfunding platform. This funding segment proved remarkably international: more than 50 investors from nine countries, including France, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Slovakia, the United Kingdom, the United States, the United Arab Emirates, and, of course, Ukraine, showed interest. Such geographic diversification of investors underscores Aiffin’s global ambitions.

The larger share, €2.5 million, came in the form of debt financing. These funds are clearly intended to support the operational side of leasing transactions, which is an important part of Aiffin’s business model. This indicates that the company already has established partnerships and specific projects that require such financial backing.

Aiffin plans to direct the investment toward the comprehensive scaling of its operations. Particular emphasis will be placed on strengthening its position in the French market, which is strategically important for the company. Another key priority will be the development of artificial intelligence, which forms the foundation of its new infrastructure for business leasing. This direction is aimed at optimizing processes for small and medium-sized businesses, a driving force of the economy.

The funds will also be used to improve credit scoring systems, enabling faster and more accurate assessments of customer creditworthiness, risk evaluation, and underwriting—processes that are traditionally labor-intensive and require significant expertise. In addition, Aiffin plans to actively expand its partner network, building strong relationships with financial institutions and business organizations.

Ihor Nikolaiev, Co-Founder and Chief Product & Technology Officer at Aiffin, commented on this important milestone: «For us, this is not just about automating individual processes, but about creating a technological core that enables financial partners to make decisions faster, more accurately, and based on real data. We continue to strengthen our engineering, AI, and product teams, and we are actively scaling our partner network in France as we prepare for the next stage of European expansion. Our goal is to become a key player in the business fintech solutions market».

Aiffin: innovation born from collaboration

Aiffin’s story begins with an ambitious vision that brought together global experts. The company was founded in 2025 in Paris by Serhii Vaskov, Khalil Aram, and Ihor Nikolaiev. This partnership, combining Ukrainian engineering talent with international business experience, laid the foundation for developing a platform designed to revolutionize financial processes.

Despite active growth in strategically important European markets, particularly in France, a significant part of Aiffin’s product and engineering team remains based in Ukraine. This reflects the deep integration of Ukrainian specialists into global innovation projects and their contribution to the worldwide fintech industry. Today, Aiffin’s team includes more than 20 highly qualified specialists working on advanced solutions.

Aiffin’s core activity focuses on developing a comprehensive platform that fully automates financial decision-making. This covers the entire cycle: from initial data collection and thorough customer verification to complex credit scoring, comprehensive risk assessment, and underwriting. Such a system significantly reduces the time and human resources required for these procedures.

To achieve this level of efficiency, Aiffin actively uses modern technological tools. These include Open Banking solutions, which allow financial data to be securely exchanged between different institutions, as well as powerful AI models that analyze large volumes of information. An important component is also KYC (Know Your Customer) and KYB (Know Your Business) verification, along with AML (Anti-Money Laundering) procedures to ensure the legality and security of transactions. Bank statement analysis and integration with other authoritative data sources further complete the picture, creating a full and accurate understanding of a client’s financial situation.

The привлечення of new investment and Aiffin’s active development are a vivid example of how Ukrainian technology companies successfully compete in the international market by offering innovative solutions that meet the highest global standards. It also reflects the growing role of artificial intelligence and fintech in transforming the modern economy.
